Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) for Full-Spectrum CBD Oil

What is Full Spectrum CBD Oil?

Full spectrum CBD Oil contains the full array of cannabinoids that are contained in the hemp flower that we extract. For full spectrum CBD oil, this means that we do not remove the THC from the oil. Having the full array of cannabinoids enhances what is known as the Entourage Effect.

Will Full-spectrum CBD Oil get me high?

Since Full spectrum CBD oil does contain THC, it is possible to feel euphoric effects. Our Full Spectrum CBD oils comply with the 2018 Farm Bill requirement for THC which specifies that the THC concentration must be below 0.3%. On average RedeemRX full spectrum products contain between .15-2.5% THC.

Why Take Full spectrum CBD Oil?

Full spectrum CBD contains a wider array of cannabinoids and related compounds called terpenes. The combination of CBD with these other compounds is synergistic in nature. They support CBD effectiveness. This is called the entourage effect.

How much full spectrum CBD oil should I take?

As with any cannabis product, we suggest you start low and go slow. Start with the recommended dosage on the label, then increase gradually until you achieve the desired effect.

Can Full Spectrum CBD Oil Cause me to fail a drug test?

Yes. Taking Full Spectrum CBD oil can cause you to fail a drug test. If drug testing is part of your employer requirements, do not take any products containing THC.

Are there side effects of Full spectrum CBD oil?

There are a few side effects to be carefull of when taking full spectrum CBD oil. First, it does contain THC. If you are sensitive to THC, have the potential to be drug tested. We do not recommend that you take any of our full spectrum products.

Additionally, CBD and other cannabinoids can impact your body's ability to metabolize prescription drugs. This could cause a health hazard because some drugs may stay in your system longer. If you are taking prescription medication, please consult your doctor before taking full spectrum products.

Why does RedeemRX call their Full Spectrum CBD Oil “Optimal Spectrum”?

We call your full spectrum CBD Oils “Optimal Spectrum” because we take additional measures to ensure that you get an optimal balance of cannabinoids and terpenes. Terpenes are lost during distillation of full spectrum CBD extract. We add nine key terpenes back to our extract after distillation. We are not aware of any other CBD manufacturers that take this level of care to ensure consistency and quality.

Should I buy Spray or Dropper?

We offer our Full and Broad Spectrum Oils in a spray bottle and in the traditional dropper bottle. Both dose applicators are effective. However, the spray bottle offers a finer mist of CBD oil that has a greater surface area, improving the absorption or bioavailability of the oil. But the choice comes down to your preference. If you want more information on spray versus dropper, see our blog.

How is Full Spectrum CBD Oil Made?

RedeemRX uses hemp flower only, not whole plant, to create our full spectrum oils. The first step is to extract the hemp flower in pharmaceutical grade ethanol or with CO2. After extraction the residual solvent is driven off, then the extract is distilled to remove undesirable plant compounds that affect color, odor, and flavor. The resulting product is called distillate. Our CBD distillate is light amber in color and contains approximately 90% CBD along with a full array of other cannabinoids such as THC, CBN, CBC, and CBG.

Whole Plant or Flower Only CBD?

While the term whole plant CBD sounds great, in reality it is not. Cannabinoids and terpenes are made for glands in the hemp flower called trichomes. Trichomes do not exist in the stems, stalks, or roots of the plant. Consequently, the concentration of cannabinoids and terpenes in these part is extremely low to non-existent. Extracting these parts is essentially a waste of time and can contribute to higher level of impurities in the extract. This is why we use only the flower to make our exceptional quality full and broad spectrum CBD oils.

Why is Full Spectrum CBD Oil So expensive?

The short answer is that it is expensive to make CBD products that are safe and consistently effective. There are many manufacturers that just use the cheapest materials and mix up batches with uncontrolled processes. But, the truth is that doing it right adds significant overhead.

There are several factors that contribute to the cost of Full spectrum CBD oil. Two main factors are quality and origin of the hemp being used and the level of quality control for extraction, formulation, and packaging.

RedeemRX only uses organically grown hemp flower from the southeastern United States. We audit our farmers to ensure that sustainable organic practices are used. Additionally, we test each shipment from our farmers for pesticides, mold, bacteria, heavy metals, and potency. Hemp flower is not used in our process until it is released by our Quality department.

Even though CBD manufacturing is not regulated by the FDA, we have designed and implemented a quality system that would satisfy the FDA’s requirements for drug products. This means we have significant overhead in documentation, process and facility controls, testing, and most of all experienced people. Our employees care about making the safest, most effective products possible and have pharma experience to make it happen.

Where to buy quality full spectrum CBD Oil?

Can you use full spectrum CBD oil for your dog?

We do not suggest the use of Full Spectrum CBD Oil for your dog or other pets. Dogs have more receptors in their endocannabinoid system and are more sensitive to CBD and in particular to THC. Full spectrum CBD oil contains a small amount of THC that can be harmful. Click here for more information on CBD for your fur baby.

Full Spectrum CBD Oil vs Broad spectrum CBD Oil?

There is a lot of confusing information on the web about CBD. When it comes to full spectrum vs broad spectrum the difference is straight forward.

Full spectrum CBD oil contains all the naturally extracted cannabinoids and as many of the terpenes that can survive the distillation process as possible. This includes Delta 9 THC. Broad spectrum CBD oil has undergone a process to remove the Delta 9 THC and is considered THC free.
