    Who takes CBD for Anxiety and Sleep?  We asked one of Redeem’s own what being a working mother is like amongst many other roles and how CBD helps.

    Hi, my name is Jessica. This is my story about using CBD for anxiety and sleep, and how Redeem’s products have helped me through parts of motherhood I struggle with.

    Never in my wildest dreams did I envision just how much being a mother would change my life. I knew it would alter my life some, but I have been on a rollercoaster ride for over two years now.

    Some of the rides were filled with the highest highs, while others were the lowest of lows. 

    What is it like being a full-time employee, wife, graduate student, and mother?

    For me, a typical day is chaos mixed with fatigue, worry, and over-caffeination. Still, after becoming a mother, new daily challenges presented themselves, such as extra chores, schedules, and putting someone else’s needs before my own. 

    Before having my daughter, I would wake up early, get ready, and head out of the house in time to beat rush hour traffic. If I wanted to go and do something after work or on the weekends, I would have no problem.

    Now, I am lucky if a comb touches my hair and my socks match before leaving the house. My house seems to be in constant organized chaos, and finding a babysitter is near impossible because did I mention, I have anxiety? 

    It is a struggle to get out of bed, not for lack of trying or going to bed early. I work 9-5 Monday through Friday, and by the time I get home and start dinner, I spend as much time as I can with my husband and daughter before her bedtime.

    After my daughter goes to bed, I tidy up the house and work on my graduate school homework. Then, I begin my nighttime routine, and I head to bed around 10:00 pm or later. Lather, rinse, repeat. 

    Easy right? Well, not quite. 

    Why did you choose CBD for anxiety and sleep?

    The simple answer is for relief. However, the biggest reason for using CBD for anxiety and sleep was so I could feel like myself again.

    My routine is pretty simple and relatively easy to manage most days. What makes it a struggle is the anxiety and pressure of getting it all done in time, or at all.

    Once I am in bed, I toss and turn and struggle to get a good night’s rest because I am either checking my daughter’s nanny cam or have a never-ending to-do list compiling in my head. It is a spiral effect. 

    I spoke up about this earlier on in motherhood with my doctor because being the Type A personality I am, I wanted to be the best at all things, including motherhood. The medication worked for a while.

    Still, I became numb and even more disconnected from finding balance in my life over time. I was less anxious, but the fatigue still lingered.

    The feeling of not “really” being there was overwhelming at times. I circled back with my doctor, and we tried other strengths and medications. Still, I remember being at one office visit and feeling utterly frustrated because I had never taken medication regularly until having my daughter.

    I felt like I was broken or something was wrong for me to need medication to function and perform essential daily tasks. 

    Did you research CBD for anxiety and sleep before buying?

    Short answer: Yes.

    Feeling even more unbalanced, I began researching alternative methods for sleep and anxiety. That’s where natural hemp-derived products, like Redeem Therapeutics CBD, came into play.

    While the prescription medications did work some of the time, I knew I wanted to take a more natural approach to combat my demons than continual trial and error.

    My main reason was that I did not like who I was or how I felt on these medications.

    Which CBD products of ours have you tried?

    The sample pack of the 1500mg Broad Spectrum product line was my initial purchase that included four different products. The first three were honey, lemon, spearmint, and orange citrus.

    The fourth product was a sample of the sleep oil that is also honey lemon flavored. 

    I instantly fell in love with each flavor. The honey lemon tasted soothing, the spearmint awoke my senses and tasted fresh, and the orange citrus tasted fruity and crisp. I knew after trying each one which flavor(s) I wanted to purchase. 

    I chose spearmint because I knew it would help me jump-start my day with its refreshing taste. The sleep tincture was also on my radar because I wanted a good night’s rest. With a toddler at home, I hadn’t slept well since my daughter was born in 2019. 

    My initial routine consists of 2 sprays in the morning of the 1500mg Spearmint Broad Spectrum Tincture. After my shower, I spray 1-2 sprays of the 1500mg Broad Spectrum Sleep Tincture at night while I finish getting ready for bed.

    By the time I got in bed, I was already on my way to relaxation. I repeated this routine for an entire year before transitioning to the 3000mg Spearmint Broad Spectrum Tincture.
